SRS-ZR5 Bluetooth with IPhone

Hi,

I am trying to confirm if my SRS ZR5 can be connected by bluetooth to an I Phone 7 and 8 or X?

I can connect my IPhone 6 but not an IPhone SE.

The online Sony list only goes up to IPhoen 6.

hi @Deisesony, welcome to the Community 

I'm not sure if there's a fix for that; it might be worth talking to Apple about it. Have you tried the Apple forums to see if others have a similar issue?

I'll give apple a try later for sure and see what they say.

I guess my main issue now is that I just want to confirm if the iPhone 7 - 8 is compatible with the SRS-ZR5 before I go out and buy one. [Dont want another Iphone SE repeat issue] 

Sony technical customer support say Iphoen 7-8 are untested, so they can’t confirm for me.

I would have thought that Sony would be very interested in updating their product testing with one of the most popular phones in the world to avoid any confusion?

My Apple iPhone X works fine with my Sony CMT-SX7B Hi Fi System which is abit older, so I'd definetly say the Sony SRS ZR5 will work fine over bluetooth/Wifi too!
