I've just used 2 SIMs on my X and there is a new annoying issue with the first sim (tray 1).
It's randomly deactivated and the phone could not recognize it. I don't have any way except restarting my phone.
I've tried to replace 2 sims location for each other but the second always works perfectly and the first sim still be disabled after period of time.
I've also tried to repair my phone but the problem is not solved.
can you describe the icon shown? does it indicate that the sim is gone like an x over the icon or just no signal shown?
try to adjust your network type.
our device supports the use of two different networks at the same time. You can select from the following network mode combinations when two SIM cards are inserted in your device:
For each SIM card, you can set your device to switch automatically between mobile networks depending on which mobile networks are available where you are. You can also manually set your device to use a particular mobile network mode for each SIM card, for example, WCDMA or GSM.
Different status icons are displayed in the status bar depending on the type or mode of network that you are connected to. Refer to Status icon to see what the different status icons look like.

There is no icon for the first sim. I mean it's definitely gone. The phone could not recognize it. And all of options of SIM1 setting are gray.
About the network type, I have one with LTE/WCDMA/GSM and the other is GSM only (automatically changed). But I think it doesn't have any meaning because when I change the position of 2 Sims, the one at first tray (SIM 1) still has problem while the second works fine regardless of what network type.
Hi
I have the same issue
Thank you for your help. This is really annoying because I have to restart multiple times per day
