Какая модель наушников нужна???
What headphone model is needed ???
-GT
My X Compact headphone jack stopped working last week. Whenever I plug in headphones the sound still comes out of the phone speakers.
I've tried two different sets of headphones, but have the same issue. I used a vacuum cleaner to see if there was any lint or fluff caught in the jack socket, but nothing has come out. Does anyone know if this is a known fault and if it can be fixed?
Thanks
A repair probably is due.
I advise you to get in touch with Sony Support.
The support app on your phone will lead you the way.
And yes, it can be fixed. Preferably by Sony.
On youtube you'll find howto do it yourself.
I wouldn't advise you to do so.
You'll probably end up with more trouble and lose your warranty as far as you're still entitled to.
You might also try using "canned air" to blow into the socket, rather than attempting to vacuum debris out.
Enough to advise the poor user all sorts of nonsense! Headphone failure is not a mechanical problem, but a software problem! I did the same after upgrading to Oreo 8.0 read on this forum. Then, after three months of correspondence on this forum firmware fixed and my headphones are working again, but many types of headphones do not work so far. Write here in the forum the type of their headphones and torment the moderators, so they reported your problem to Sony.
N.B. If you insert into the connector of your smartphone the cheapest Chinese headphones 99% that they will work.
I can verify its software issues as on my headphones no auto detect work, but if i force switch via 3rd app i can listen to clicks and sony ringtone sounds via head phones, and nothing more what the Tried already 20 different type of headphones but no luck.. Dam you sony..
P. S. Bluetooth ones work, but dont want to use the due to health issues with extra brain radiation.. 😱
I remember from somewhere back that there was an issue with the headphone plugs, not all types were recognised.
Try Google to find out.
It is not my habit to be personal
In this case I cannot resist.
Please @Gerry12 , try to be reasonable.
This world is full of radiation.
WiFi, Bluetooth, TV, radio, mobile internet, all sorts of radiation around you.
When I was young I lived in the vicinity of a radio mast, we could hear the radio buzzing through on the iron.
Be realistic, you can't escape from radiation.
Try not to expose yourself too much to radiation from high altitude, direct sunlight and don't torture your ears with heavy low frequency radiation from your headphones.
See things from a realistic perspective, don't let fear interfere, live happy.
(and be warned for my Voodoo experiments)
