Sony Xperia X Performance says it's charging when it's not and same other way around

Sony Xperia X Performance. 

I have tried different chargers also and they work and sometimes don't. So basically my problem is that when I plug in my phone to charge it won't charge at all. The light doesn't say and the battery icon doesn't vibrate or show the charging icon. But sometimes when I restart the phone a few times it works perfectly. But I just keep restarting and there's no pattern at all.

the charging flex is damaged,  please repleace the charging flex, please see the home electrical circuit and the charger from your Xperia maybe also present damages, the electrical overload maybe produce the damaged

What about the usb connector in your device.

It maybe broken or just has accumulated dirt inside.

The behaviour you describe indicates either a loose contact inside or dirt inside.

On AliExpress or your home town you can buy compressed air to clean the connector.
