Sony Xperia XA ranbom reboot

I have a new sony xperia XA and telcel carrier, for over a month and I've have experience random reboots and when I try to power up again it power off before it ask for the password for power on it just begin with the telcel logo and power off. It appear to be no reason for the power off.

I already download the latest official software version and the problem is the same or worst.

@Mau3

remove the SIM card  and check if you experience the same issue  without it.

Hi @Mau3,

Welcome to the community!

A defect or old, worn out SIM-card might be what is causing this. As @uliwooly mentioned, does your phone experience the same behaviour if your remove or use another SIM-card in your phone?

Should this happen without a SIM-card inserted I would advise you to try booting your phone with the volume down key pressed in during the entire startup procedure. This should boot up your phone to safe mode, which will (temporarily) disable all of your downloaded applications. This way we can rule out one of your apps being behind this.

Should the above not help with getting this sorted out my next recommendation would be that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion on your device using a computer. This will help us rule out if this is related to software software or not.

Keep me posted!

it is a battery problem

@midoreload, it's not impossible that it is related to a defect or broken battery. In order to rule that out it's a good idea to start with my previous suggestions. Chances are this is related to something else and it that case @Mau3 has avoided sending in the phone for no reason.

But I thank you for your suggestion, let me know if you have any other thoughts! Slightly_smiling_Face
