Formatting Memory Card?

Formatting Memory Card?

The Xperia X2 has been functioning a lot better ever since the last update but there are still issues which keep croppping up. My memory card deletes stuff on it automatically, the phone cannot read it at times and there is no way I can seem to format it either. The manual is of no help and mailing their service centre is pointless as well. So anyone have any solution as to how to format the memory card on the X2, any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't think you can format your memory card on X2. Thats another X2 dissapointing point.

All you need to do is formating your memory card from memory card reader.

I'm looking the way to. But 'till now still have no clue.

To format the memory card you may use the USB card reader that came with your X2 together in the box.

Insert the card into this reader, plug the device in your PC and format from the PC (right-click on the USB-drive in file explorer and select Format).

The problem with disappearing memory-card (and many other problems) can be fixed by a small registry change.

Download the file X2_SDFix.cab to your mobile from the following address: http://rapidshare.com/files/389695879/X2_SDFix.cab

and run it.

Good luck!
