Headphone, notification sounds for xperia z2

It is so annoying. Even when i have my phone on silent, the notification sound is still on when i plugin my headphones! how do i turn of notification sound when i have my headphones in!!!!!

Even when on silent or vibrate the notification sound plays when the headphones are in....
This only just started.... What happened?

Go to setting, sound, system, notification sound, select none. There you go!

So now I never have notification sound ever?

This will only turn off notification noise while listening to music buddy. Everything else will work fine

Yes and no. You have to go back and add a notification sound when done listening. This is asinine. Never had this issue with my 4 other android phones. It may honestly be the reason I break warrenty and just flash Cyanogen
