M2 Aqua walkmate gps problem

Hello,

I have an M2 Aqua and recently I've installed the walkmate app. It's all fine and well untill I want to use the training option. It matters not if it's "free training sessions" or "programmed training sessions", in both cases it says No GPS signal even tho my gps is turned on, even my wifi. I tested the gps (with and without WiFi) in different apps like Maps, Garmin Navigation, Endomondo (an app I use for running, that it's recording though gps my tracks) and they work fine.

I need to mention that I don't use a SIM card on this phone.

Anyone has any ideea why is this happening?

Try using a sim card and see if it works. Most phone GPS need some signalfrom a sim card. so it can detect you. 

I'll install it on my Aqua tosee if it works with sim. I very curios as i was actually searching for an app like this one

I can't use a sim card, because I broke the sim slot (used a defective sim adaptor, and broke the blades that made the contact between the sim and the phone, and it's not covered by warranty). What baffles me is that the gps is working fine with other apps.

If you can test and see if it's only working if you have a sim in it I would be grateful. It might work only with gprs, which would be a huge disappointment.

Sorry to hear that.
So I've tested it with sim and GPS is not recognized. just like u said It might be the app. My GPS works perfectly with any other app.... It would be useful to see if it works on another phone. Sorry. I'm thinking of other stuff that might work. Have a nice day.

Thanks for trying. I've sent an email to the app developers, but haven't received an aswer yet.
