Micro SD card: Maximum Supported Read/Write Speed Rating?

I want to purchase a 64GB Micro SDXC card for my Sony Xperia SP and would like to get the fastest card (read/write speed) compatible with (i.e. useable by) the phone, but I do not want to waste money buying a card that has a faster read/write speed than the maximum speeds supported by the phone. What is the maximum read/write speed of the Xperia SP for micro SDXC cards and what would you recommend?

Go for Sandisk/Sony UHS I or II,those are the best for 64GB micro SD cards.

I know those are the best microSD cards, but I do not want to waste money buying a card that has a faster read/write speed than the maximum speeds supported by the phone. What is the maximum read/write speed of the Xperia SP?

Does Xperia SP support 64gb memory card? BTW I use sony SR-16UYA memory card. It is class 10 of 16 gb capacity ..It works fine with my phone.

Hope this helps you to some extent.

The thing is like this:if you will get a 64 GB card, the speed class is UHS I (default).

The addition of support for 64Gb SD cards is an undocumented feature of the 4.3 update.

Nope, it has always worked, it's still not supported (i.e. it may work but if it doesn't then don't complain to Sony)
