it is poor every and does not recicive any signal indoors need to be outside or near a window. What may be wrong with the phone?

Is this an issue since you purchased the phone? Is it a new issue, if so, when did it begin? Does it happen all the time, at home, at work?
Have you updated the software to rule out software issues? Try www.sonyericsson.com/update and follow the steps.
If you've done the update and a physical problem is likely, contact your local office for warranty information and any repair/exchange options that may be available. If you need the contact information, reply with the country you are in.

I have the exact same problem. Indoors the signal is very low till non existant.
I've updated the Phone (several times) and the problem is still there.
