Phonebook - My Number: SIM unavaiable

I have imported all my contacts from my SIM but still keep getting the message My number:SIM card unavailable in my phonebook.

Any ideas onhow to show my number

Not sure if this answers your question, but on my X10, if I go to Dialler and to Contacts, the contacts are shown in alphabetical order, but it shows "My number: +1......" at the top of the screen, just under a search box.

That is what I want my phone to show, my number above the alpabetical list of contacts but for some reason it doesn't.
