i recently got a unlocked sony x10 however had my number ported and it works but my phone shows old number (in phonebook under the "myself" entry can i change it i tried but it dosent look like it help needed
Nope. You will not be able to change it. It is written in sim memory. Only some old phones had acces to edit ''my'' number. That is My opinion..
