So, I rooted my phone, I unlocked my bootloader (which whiped my phone clean, which i have not been told up front! Or I overlooked it)
And after a days work I would finally like to do something wiht my unlimited access to my phone.
However, I wouldn't mess with my phone before doing a nandroid backup.
So I looked up how to execute one and tried several apps and methods to back up.
It came to me that there might be no recovery mode on an Xperia E1.
This would absolutly **bleep**, considering I probabbly voided my warrenty, whiped my phone and wasted 12 hours of my life to something pointless.
So my question is: Is there a way to access the recovery mode on Sony Xperia E1, or is there another way to make a nandroid or something equal to that?
Keep in mind I am relatively new to rooting, unlocking the bootloader etc.
Sorry if this question is similar to others, but I haven't found one (yet) about an E1
You overlooked the wiping of it and did you look into rooting without unlocking the bootloader in order to backup the TA partition, As for recovery then you need to have root access and install a custom recovery like TeamWIN or Clockwork Mod
I read about th TA partition after unlocking the boatloader (stupid, stupid, stupid).
I have read about custom recovery's, but I haven't found one yet that has the E1 listed as compatible. should I try it anyways?
Thanks for replying to stupid questions
Dear GoodOldJack,
I would like to let you know that there is a special program called "odin" which allows you to flash the original sony firmware onto your phone.
If you would like I can give you a step by step guide on how to fo it.
Cheers!.
