standard keyboard is acting weird!

Just recently my keyboards been acting weird. Most annoying of the problems is when I am pressing delete and it gets to the end of the word and then inserts another word instead of deleting! At first I thought I was knocking letters around the delete button and the predictive text was inserting them but I've been very precise pressing the delete button and still it inserts words. Anyone else had this?

I think it's a problem with the latest update of chrome browser.

Settings > apps > all > chrome > clear data > restart your phone.

This has been reported before,google needs to take a good look at it.

Thanks everyone! I'll follow the chrome clear guidance above and fingers crossed it will sort it I try googling it before asking but nothing came up so apologies if it's a repeat post

@alexdon off the top of my head yes I'm pretty sure it was just on chrome... I've just done the reset so I'll let you know if it occurs again

@uliwooly will clearing the data fix the issue or is the latest chrome update just bugged? I myself find it awkward as **bleep**. But don't won't to clear data if I don't have too?

It seems to be present on the latest Chrome update.
