Upgraded Sony Xperia ZR to Android Kitkat 4.4.4. However, Move to SD option is not available.

Hi,

Yesterday I upgraded my Xperia ZR phone to latest Android Kitkat 4.4.4. The upgrade went smooth and completed without any problems. Futher exploring the phone, in Apps I'm unable to see Move to SD option.

Was this option part of latest Kitkat OS release ?

The update to Android 4.4.4 for ZR does not support moving apps to SD i'm afraid.

Are there any plans in future for making Move to SD availbale for Xperia ZR (water proof + dust proof) phone ?

And will that new OS or patch shall be made available to Xperia ZR phone ?

After the 4.4.4 update, xperia zr not yet have an option to move apps to sd card. This is very bad. My expectations about the new update was very high. All xperia zr users need this feature so badly.

I just want a decent camera and i heard that it can always be improved with software updates. My question to sony is that why you cant improve the camera software, why it loose so much details in 100% zoom. Xperia z's camera quality is far behind some cheap gionee and lenevo phones. So i request you to push a better camera update.

Why do you want it so badly when apps won't work when moved - Google have changed the API's in readiness for Android L and ART which will not support this
