Wifi arrows

My wifi symbol in he status bar constantly has flashing arrows, one on the right hand side and one on the left hand side. I would expect this if the phone was constantly downloading email or social network feeds but when I try to load those I get the message "Could not open connection to server" when attempting to access e-mails as well as this message when attempting to load news feed on Facebook "Error loading news feed"

Any ideas?
Cheers

Does this happen with all WiFi/routers or just a particular one?

Are you able to access any application that uses the Internet or is this only occurring with the 2 you specified?

Hi Jake,

This happens with all applications that use the internet, not just the two I specified. It is also intermittent, I don't know if I stated that originally...

I see, being intermittent can make analysis hard in such a case. You may be best to backup the device and go through with a software repair.

Found the answer to the Bridge for Mac question. I should have looked before I asked. 😕

Doing a back up now...

With regards to PC Companion is there a Mac version available? I tried to download PC Companion via the link that you supplied but it will not run on a Mac...
