Today I had visited a sony service center as my Xperia P Battery is dead, but after diagnosis they said its motherboard problem.
How does Battery life problem related to motherboard? If my phones motherboard has a problem my phone should not start or should not work at all, I only have a issue with Battery which is 30 min max.
They said motherboard is defective and should be repalced and will cost 8000 INR.
So I have decided never sony again.
If we replace ourselfs why are sony centers available? we go to them just because we cannot replace it on our own, Xperia P has a fixed battery it need some tools to open and replace.
Also I should buy a new Battery which is again a big problem coz I will not be knowing which one is original and which one is duplicate.
I'm not saying replace it yourself I'm giving you an alternative
Thank you for your suggestion , But I expected more from Sony.
Not sure if they have done this as my phone is out of warranty.
The cheaper option is to do it yourself or even use a 3rd party repair store, You can buy genuine replacements see here for an example and I'm sure something similar will be available in your country either through eBay or Amazon to name a few
