Xperia L screen shakes when touched while charging

First of all, I own an expensive VAIO & seeing its performance, I was fooled to believe that Sony manufactures quality products. From the day I first purchased my Xperia L, I have been unhappy. Be it the performance of the phone or the attitude of the Service center executives, Sony fails miserably. My latest complaint with this smartphone is while the phone is charging, the screen shakes when touched or held at any point.

My initial guess was a software glitch (firmware issues)... but it persists even when upgarded to the latest Android version available for Xperia L. So is this some kind of a sign that this unit is defective? Or are all users having the same problem...

"You should contact your blah blah" "Bring it to your local blah blah" and most of those people that did don't get the repair that they need. You guys have to stop with these and just tell the truth about these hardware issues that persists with the phone. This is the result of low quality control. To be blamed are the factory who assembled the phone for choosing sub-par components, and of course Sony for letting this slip and for not admitting their mistake not just for this phone but all of their other phones suffering hardware issues.

As for the shaking issue, I do have it too. Like when you're holding your finger and the display gets jittery. Some other people actually even experience hyper-sensitive panels, where when you touch the screen while charging it gets loco. It's a hardware problem no software update could fix, same with the multitouch issue.

Well said... I am really sick of hearing the same old crap... visit your local incompetant service centre....run pc companion...Hey! Is Sony being run by a group of nerds?

It looks like the support & admin staff copy & paste the same dialog for every issue!

Let me tell u something about Sony's service centres. The employees there have absolutely no regard for the consumer & refuse to accept the fact that they supplied a defective or poor quality product. May be this is why Sony will never rise above Samsung in the smartphone market!

I personally visited the branch manager & he did not even have the balls to recieve an official complaint letter from me!

Unfortunately for Sony. the press enjoys to publish failure more than success. And I do happen to write articles.

The issues mentioned by JKPMJOH is the exact same as mine. Several friends of mine also suffer with some sort of problems with xperia mobiles. And frankly the service centre chose to dismiss the complaints & play deaf. BTW I do review products & have been receiving a lot of complaint regarding the attitude of the Sony service centres. I will make sure the true quality of Sony products is brought to the eyes of the consumer.
