Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Given that there are a huge number of reasons this could happen I would be surprised if someone hadn’t had similar symptoms. However with this said it is certainly not common with this model and it is more important to find the cause. Did you get any error message when this occurred and what application did you have open when this occurred?

Yes, 4 or 5 times since the last update.
It is usually easily solved with Power+UpVolume

I have exactly the same problem. One morning, after no significant event, I woke up and my mobile phone was black. It stayed like that for about two or three hours. And then, suddenly, I could switch it on. From that event on, about two weeks ago, it regularly switches itself off. Sometimes it stays like that for a while, and sometimes immediately reboots. Sometimes pressing the red button at the left of the phone I could reboot it. But today it's been taking more time than before (5 hours and it is still dead). I pressed the red button and the phone vibrated, but nothing more. I have tried to press every possible combination of buttons (power, volume up, down, camera, red button....) without success.
Can this be a software problem? I will try to do a cache reset, but given that it doesn't switch on, it doesn't look like software, does it?
Thanks!
Carlos
