Hi guys,
I have successfully paired my z3 to my laptop and once I connect wirelessly everything is fine and I can use my laptop to view all the files on my phone. However the connecting does not keep, especially if i try to move items from one folder to another, it simply disconnects and doesnt reconnect unless I do it manually.
This is preventing me from doing anything that MTP has to offer so it is actually a pretty useless application for me.
I have made sure my phone doesnt go idle during this time so it's not that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I dont want to have to keep plugging in a USB cable to move files about.
Thanks
Kelv
Do you have Stamina mode enabled? and when it disconnects does your phones screen turn off? - I had this issue untill I turned off Stamina mode
Hi, thanks for your response
I did have stamina mode enabled, I've disabled it, powered my phone off and back on again but I'm still having the same issue.
Also my phones screen doesn't turn off once it disconnects.
Thanks
I'm unsure what the issue could be - Some members do report this type of issue when sending large files
Are you sending files over bluetooth (i thought MTP was a bluetooth protocol)? If so, have you tried (as an experiment) disconnecting and shutting down wifi - im sure i read somewhere that wifi scanning could sometimes interfere with bluetooh connections due to the way the radio chipset works on some devices.
