Issue transferring Apps from Samsung S8 to Xperia XZ1

Hi, Im trying to transfer Apps from Samsung S8 to Xperia XZ1

I've used the Xperia Transfer Mobile app to do this and its worked for everything EXCEPT the Apps !! (contacts, music etc all transferred perfectly)

My XZ1 says "Applications not supported by this device" in the Xperia Transfer Mobile.

Any help please?

Hi @DCurtis;

I don't know how it works with the Samsung but normally the apps are backed up from Google itself and when tou install the same Google account in a new device all the apps will be transfered from Google Play, that was what happened when I bought my last Sony Xperia device.

There is also the possibility that you have some apps in the Samsung that are not compatible with the Xperia so you will get that error, you can only transfer compatible apps.
