Music pauses when taking picture

My music pauses every time I hit the shutter button in the camera app.

Very annoying, I don't think this is a setting is it?

Have you disabled the shutter sound (camera > settings > sound > off) ?

It was the first thing I thought of, but I somehow overlooked the setting. This time I did find it and it does solve the problem.

However, I cannot imagine that this is how it is supposed to function? Is this normal for xz1 (compact)?

That's normal, if you have a sound or notification it will impact music playback.
