Sort order in Contacts

Hi,

Unless I'm blind to miss it, does anyone know of a way to set the sort order in Contacts.  The default seems to be "Firstname Lastname" and I'd prefer "Lastname, Firstname".  I can install Contacts+ which does offer that option, but it goes all overboard with trying to do all sorts of other stuff I don't want/need.

contacts 3 dots menu (bottom right) - - list by last name - sort by last name

Hi,

That's where I expected it to be as well, but no luck.  The only options I have in the ... menu are:

* Import contacts

* Back up contacts

* Mark several

* Filter

* Find link candidates

* Settings

This is the default "Contacts" app that came with the Xperia Z on the first App screen.

My, I feel such an idiot.

I saw Filter and immediately dismissed it as not applicable to sort order and just didn't look further
