Error message

I have a new Sony Bravia KD49XG8.  Sky is connected to HMI.   Tonight I needed to reboot the Sky Box which I used to do on my old Sony TV (options - 01 - sky+ etc) the TV would then display housekeeping, screen would go blank then after two minutes I would press sky remote and Sky would reappear.  But instead of a blank screen a triangle was displayed with “No signal.  Check the external input or select another input using the INPUT button.”  After checking everything was still plugged in I switched the TV off then switched it back on again.  Message was still there.  I switched it off again and waited.  I then switched it on again and got Sky back.   I repeated it again rebooted the Sky box and same thing happened.  Waited a few minutes and Sky came back.    

Does this suggest a problem with my TV?

Any suggestions?

Hello @Ukchatannie,

when you see the error message, it seems you are using the TVs internal tuner. 

When it switches back to the HDMI input to which the Sky box is connected, you see its signal.
