Have Sony dropped Theatre Mode?

Having bit the bullet & upgraded my (perfectly good) blu-ray player from 2011 so that I can get Netflix on the Sony Network, I noticed my new S4100 3d player remote is missing the Theatre Mode button.<br>Has this feature been dropped from the newest models? It was a good idea but often didn't work on some films, simply darkening them too much. The Lord of the Rings films spring to mind - g

Im not sure what answer you want on this.  If the feature isnt there........  Best thing to do is contact Sony Support : HERE and get it from the horses mouth (as they say)

Email support not available at present, I just hoped someone else had already asked the question & would be able to provide an answer.

Firstly I have an apology to make, I was probably a bit rough on my first answer to be honest.  I have had a bit of a look around, and cannot see anything remotely similar on the new S4100.  There is a Cinema Conversion Mode but that does something else.
