This is the second pair of these head phones I've had and it's now having the same problem as the last pair which I returned.
The right side cup has a crackling sound or a sometimes a very low level rumbling sound. It used to be infrquent but seems permanent now.
I disable ambient sound in the android app the crackling and rumble disappears.
Seems to be a common problem with these headphones.
Is there any hope fo a fix? Or time to return them??

I read somewhere that this is related to air pressure and noise cancelling. Have you tried re-calibrating NC using the Sony Headphones Connect?
