Headphones bought a year ago. Handled with kid gloves given cost. Literally my prized possession. Wore them a few weeks ago and the small plastic bit on the headphone band fell off. Took them to John Lewis as just over a year old. John Lewis through Sony engineers claiming physical damage so won’t repair unless pay £90. Same story as a number of people on this site. Have declined to pay . Will put sellotape on them before I do that. £300 plus headphones not fit for purpose. I have spent thousands on Sony products over the years. I will not be buying any going forward. Shocking. Can’t post photos as am waiting for John Lewis to return them unrepaired. I will be taking it further.

I don’t have them at present. I am waiting for them to be returned (unrepaired) by John Lewis and then I will post a photo.
It feels like a lifetime ago since I was worried about these absolutely useless headphones. Posted back by John Lewis with a note saying they’d been repaired but they were not, of course. For those who wanted photos see below.
