Hi all,
Im rubbish with technology, my limit is uploading a photo to facebook. Had my lovely mobile Xperia Arc for quite a few years, all has been working ok up until this morning when I turned it on, went to upload a photo on facebook to a friend and my phone popped up a message saying, Your computer detected a USB cord and locked your phone for storage, please disconnect the cord to see your photos! I cant access my photos, gallery etc all gone. I cant work out what has happened, Ive never actually connected my phone to my sony laptop, the only cable ever used is to just charge it up! When I click on gallery is just says SD unmounted or not present!! HELP I really dont understand what has happened or how to fix it. Im rubbish with technology so simple terms please...ha ha .
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
First of all I would suggest that you just try to remove the battery and SD card for a while. Put it back after a few minutes and start the phone as normal. Try to access the gallery again.
Keep us updated if it still doesn't work!
Hi, thank you. Ive just tried that it hasnt made any difference. Shall i just restore phone back to factory settings, would it work then?
Either that,or a software repair with SUS:
