Multiple problems connecting and updating Experia S

Hey Guys!

Im having three big problems with my expria S and no clue how to start solving them.

When I try to connect my phone to my cmputer (macbook pro) using either Sony bridge for mac or a program called android file transfer, both can't locate my phone anymore (it used to work fine before). My phone recocnises the computer as a charger and when I connect it the bridge for mac program automatically start up and tries to make connectoion, so there seems to be some kind of action. But after searching for some time both programs say there is no phone connected.

Then I tried to connect using Bluetooth... Here both my computer and my phone seem to recocnize eachother, but on my phone it says "paired but not connected". The strange thing is that when I try to send a file from my computer to my phone it works perfectly fine, but the other way arround it doesn't work at all and it says connection failure. I tried using my computer to reconnect with my phone, but the result stays the same.

I don't have automatic updates so it might have been some time since I updated the phone so then, for sure, I thought about doing a software update.

When I go to the update center on my phone and try to download the latest update (Lounge 2.4.2) I just get the message "could not download". No matter what I try, I cant get the update downloaded. The strange thing here is that when I try to download and install and new app or anything else, there is no problem at all. So it is only the update that he doesnt want to download.

I really want to manage my files on my computer, but seem to find no way to connect. Anyone knows what could be the problem here and what I can do about it?

Please help.

p.s.: I have 0.97GB free on my internal memory, so I don't think that should be a problem, nether do I have any strange apps installed.

Could you try a different computer and/or cables?

Sorry to hear about your problem.

Which version of Bridge for mac are you using?

The latest version is 4.0 if you not using that one try to download it and see if it's works.
