When playing Amazon Music songs over bluetooth with this Xperia T2 Ultra, there is a momentary skip as often as every 30 seconds. This does not occur while playing through the speaker or through wired headphones, and I've tested the headphones with other devices (also using Amazon Music) and they do not skip.
Any ideas? Locally stored (downloaded to phone's internal memory).
Could you tell us more about the headphones? does this happen when you receive a notification or in general?
Kinivo BTH 220, and I just remembered that the same thing happens when playing over my car's bluetooth link as well.
I am not aware of any relation to notifications; just in general -
thanks
What if you play the music through walkman? do you experience the same issue?
Yes, getting the skipping through Walkman over bluetooth and after replaying it while connected to wired headphones, I can't perceive any skips.
I can't find any skips while playing through Walkman on safe mode. Here is a list of apps on the phone from the Apps list:
Account Manager, Album, Amazon Kindle, Amazon Music, AR Effect, Background Defocus, Chrome, Cloud Print, Diagnostics, Drive, Facebook, Google Play Books, Google Play Games, Google Play Movies and TV, Google Play Music, Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Text to Speech, Google+, Hangouts, Linked In, Google Maps, Netflix, OfficeSuite, The Weather Channel, Twitter, Xperia Keyboard, Xperia Lounge, YouTube
Obviously there are more built into the phone, here are the ones I can find to list separately:
FM Radio, Email, Messaging, Phone, Camera, Calendar, Contacts, Alarm & Clock, Calculator, Gmail, Photos, Voice Search, Voice Dialer, Update Center, Backup & Restore, Downloads, Video Unlimited, Smart Connect, Socialife, Sony Select, Movies, Support, Play Games, Sketch, Notes, File Commander
I am willing to restore to factory and start over but a lot of those apps did come on it.
I realize a lot of those apps you probably know, just trying to anticipate what you might need to know -
