anti glare screens

Just bought my first compact camera, HX60. Brilliant, such a change from old heavy bridge Fujipix. My only complaint is the glare on the screen in bright sunlight. Virtually impossible to see the target, and only see myself as in a mirror! I see various stick on anti glare screens advertised on line, but most reviews say they do not make much difference.

Has anyone in the community found a real answer, or is it something I will have to get used to?

Thanks. Simon

follow up to my query. After discussing the glare problem with the dealer, I have exchanged the HX60 for the HX90v . This has a built in viewfinder. And a tilting monitor. I also prefer the zoom ring, much easier to operate. Problem solved! Simon
